DOWNTURN SMILE

(£50-£70 per area)
A downturn smile, where the corners of the mouth naturally turn downward, can also be treated with Botox. The treatment targets specific muscles that pull the corners of the mouth down, creating a more neutral or uplifted appearance. How Botox Works for a Downturn Smile: 1.Targeted Injection: Botox is injected into the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscles. These muscles are responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth downward. 2.Effect: By relaxing the DAO muscles, the opposing muscles (that lift the mouth corners) take over, giving the mouth a more neutral or slightly upturned appearance. 3.Results: The effects start to become visible in 3 to 7 days, and the treatment lasts for around 3 to 4 months, similar to other Botox treatments.
